  • Looking for a new social network?
  • Want to broaden your professional network?
  • Want to give something back to your community?
  • New to Ballarat and don’t know anyone?
  • We could be the group you’re looking for!

Who are we? Chartered in August 2002, we are a group of young professionals, who like to have a bit of fun, while doing something for our community at the same time. YA is a group young professionals, (mostly!) under the age of 40. We have a range of members from different industries and professions, all with an interest in giving something back to the community.

Why are we different? We have the backing and support of Rotary International, but we do things differently from other clubs. We have dispensed with many of the rituals of traditional service organisations, our meetings are innovative, fun and social, with a bit of work thrown in. No boring business meetings here!

What is the time commitment? We meet once a week on Thursday nights at 6.00pm (social drinks from 5.30pm). Our meetings run for between 30 and 45 mins, then we stick around for a drink and a bite to eat. We encourage you to make as many meetings as you can, but there is no minimum commitment.

Our community activities average out to a couple of hours once a month for most members.
