		<title>Very Special Kids BBQ</title>
		<description><![CDATA[On yet another wet and wintry Ballarat Saturday, we were happily cooking snags in support of the Very Special Kids &#8216;Piggy Bank Appeal&#8217;. With the big pink pig parked in the Sebastopol Safeway Carpark, many local shoppers came over and made a donation or bought a sausage. Thank you for your support.

		<title>Make a Difference Gala Ball</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Our club was very pleased to support this fantastic event again this year. One of our members, Al Morrison, expertly ran the auction again, getting a good price for our donation, another &#8216;Backyard Blitz&#8217;. Other members supported the event through their own businesses.

		<description><![CDATA[Between our club and the Rotary Club of Ballarat West, we managed to raise over $2,800 for the Leukemia Foundation. Fantastic effort!

		<title>Murray to Moyne Ride &#8211; March 2010</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Several of our members and/or family members braved the 24 hour &#8211; 520km, Murray to Moyne team cycle relay event last weekend (27 &#38; 28 March). Both our riders and support crew arrived home safely, if a bit sleep deprived. I&#8217;m sure the few quiet ones enjoyed on the way home went down nicely.

		<description><![CDATA[WorldSkills Australia is an organisation that conducts skill competitions in over 52 trade and skill areas. This year many of the competitions were held in conjunction with the University of Ballarat&#8217;s Open Day on Sunday 30 August @ the SMB Campus.
